ALIGNED with the ACTNOW campaign of the United Nations to promote sustainable development goals

Our unique Environmental Sensitivity and Quotient- ESQ framework is the first of its kind in India, assessing students’ environmental awareness and promoting equitable participation. ESQ results aim to enhance policy development, corporate strategies, and community-led action

Our initiatives also include the Climate Action Grant to financially and strategically empower youth-led environmental projects, based on our six impact areas—trees, water, energy, animals, food, and waste. We currently cater to 3 Grant categories – students, researchers & start-ups.

The Future Change Leaders (FCL) competition is a part of the CLIMATE ACTION GRANT, an initiative by Project 6 Degrees for developing and implementing innovative solutions to solve climate challenges.

Launching on India’s Independence Day, August 15th, 2024,
the Future Change Leaders (FCL) competition encourages students aged 13-19 to develop innovative environmental solutions.

6 best ideas on each theme will receive 76 Lakhs collectively, based on

  • SUSTAINABILITY
  • SCALABILITY
  • FINANCIAL FEASIBILITY
  • Submission Deadline: September 30, 2024.
  • Reward: INR 6 Lakhs in grant to be won.
  • Entry Fee: 6000/- Free entry till 30th August 2024
  • Selection Round - NOVEMBER 11, 2024
  • Final Results: December 25, 2024.

Community Award (for Mentors)

DESCRIPTION: Awarded to mentors who provide exceptional guidance and support to most number of students, helping them develop innovative projects.

IMPACT: This award highlights the critical role of mentorship in fostering creativity and environmental awareness among students.

Unity Award (for Principals)

DESCRIPTION: Presented to principals who demonstrate outstanding leadership in uniting most number of students and mentors to participate in the competition.

IMPACT: The Unity Award acknowledges principals who inspire and lead their schools towards collective action in sustainability.

One Nation One Action Award

DESCRIPTION: Given to schools that achieve high participation rates (90% or more) and demonstrate a strong commitment to the One Nation One Action movement.

IMPACT: This award celebrates schools that successfully engage their entire student body, reinforcing the idea that every student’s contribution is vital to our national sustainability goals.
